TRAMIG project contributes to a successful inclusion of migrants by its definition of the practice, status and role of intercultural mediators and interpreters working in healthcare; creation of a proposal for the occupational standards and vocational qualification of these two professions; creation of teacher-training modules drawing on best practices of the consortium partners; and the training of migrants for collaborative teaching in healthcare community-interpreter and intercultural-mediator training programs.
